daughters dad

So me and my daughters dad haven't been together since I was 39 weeks my daughter is now 3 weeks old and he's only has seen her 3 times since she been born he don't call or even bother to see how she's doing so I got to the point to. It even bother with him but today I put my pride to the side and called him because he's been lieing to his family claiming he's been trying to contact me but he has so just when I thought the call would go great it all goes sideways everytime I try to talk about the baby he brings up that I'm mad he don't want me when I really don't care honestly am I wrong for this whole situation
