Did anyone choose the sex of their baby through IVF?

My husband and I did. We did IVF for unexplained infertility. We had our embryos tested (PGS/PGD) so we could ensure we were not doing a transfer with a genetically abnormal embryo, which would have a high chance of miscarriage. When they do that they are able to determine the sex of the embryos. I live in the US and it's legal here. We had 5 boys (1 abnormal) and 1 girl. I just gave birth to our daughter 3 months ago and we'd like to have one more baby which will obviously be a boy. It was pretty neat because my husband's family only seems to make boys and I doubt we could have ever had a girl naturally. What did you want to know about? As far as the process goes, you would have the egg retrieval like a normal IVF cycle. The sperm and eggs are put together to do their job. Then instead of transferring an embryo back to you after a few days, they will take a small sample from each embryo and then freeze them. This will give them time to test them. Once your next cycle starts you would do a frozen transfer with the chosen embryo or embryos.

My husband and I had the option, and the doctor knew the sexes of the embryos, but we decided to be surprised. We ended up with a Boy and a Girl 😊💙💜

i was preparing for ivf but miraculously got pregnant 20 day before the scheduled procedure. 
however, i was never given an option nor was choosing the sex of the baby ever mentioned during our pre-ivf consultations.
