Water broke ... or maybe I peed myself ...
This is the one day I don't want to give birth! It's my nephews birthday and I want to give my baby a birthday of her own. Especially because I don't want to celebrate together with my nephew's family, since the mother is a smoker and I as an asthmatic would be forever sick on my kid's birthday. So the grandparents will have to take turns each year :-(
Woke up at four in the morning needing to pee badly and found a spot of something in my bed. It's now 11.30. No contractions yet, though - as far as I can tell. Never been very good at telling baby movements and braxton hicks apart ... but definitely nothing painful happening. And cannot determine if any more fluid is coming. Wearing a sanitary pad, but it's hard to tell so far, when you go to pee all the time. Have to call the midwife back in five minutes and maybe go to the hospital to be checked whether my water has indeed broken. And not sure they will let me go on waiting for natural contractions if labor has indeed started. Oh please make labor last at least 12.5 more hours, if it has to be now. Must be the first pregnant woman ever to wish for a longer delivery! :-D
