Tested negative but i still have a gut feeling that i could be pregnant...

I'm a week late. Iv had late periods before but only up to 1-3 days late.. At first I told myself its Ganna be a late period but now im on day 7 and I just have that really strong gut feeling that I'm pregnant... Maybe I'm just getting my hopes to high.... Has anyone ever tested negative but still turned out to be pregnant? How many weeks were you until you got a positive... I just really need someone to ease my mind... I'm driving myself nuts.

My symptoms so far are sore nipples and extreme fatigue.. Iv had a few cramps here and there that weren't bad, lasted a few seconds.... 😳
