When did you tell your job you were pregnant?

So I just started my job in September.. I found out I was pregnant right after. They just promoted me to a higher paying and better position. I am 14 weeks pregnant and I am so scared to tell my work! When is a good time to let them know there's a bun in the oven?!

I'd let them know before they find out. My GM knew I was pregnant before I did cause she stalked my fb lol she was just waiting for me to tell her.

I'm 13 weeks this week  and I just let them know last Tuesday .

Don't be scared. If your afraid of losing your job, document if they begin treating you differently or if you start to see retaliation from your manager. They should not and in the US it is illegal to be discriminated because you are pregnant. If they do you can have a case. So remember you should not be treated differently. I would talk to your benefits unit to see what they provide just in case they provide additional benefits beside FMLA. If your company provides FMLA you most likely won't qualify because you won't be there for a year but I will still talk to your manager and see what they can do for you. I had a friend start a job and a month later found she was pregnant. Her company was able to work with her and she didn't have to loss her job but I know not all work places can be that flexible.
