Does this wall look ok to you?

We are new home owners. My husband and I aren't great at interior decoration but we are trying. I need an opinion of how this wall looks to you and if you have any suggestion to improvise. This is a big living room at the entrance of the house and the first wall that's looked at when someone steps in. Please suggest.

I'd replace that green pic w a much bigger one. Throw a long thin table against the wall and put some pics and decor on it :)

It's cute but maybe for a smaller wall. I do a lot of interior design.

Some ideas if you want: If you're trying to keep your budget down maybe go with a larger painting and put it in the middle with some sconces on either side. You can usually find some inexpensive art pieces at Ross, or even Walmart, or if you enjoy it you could even do your own art work and get some canvas from JoAnnes or Michaels. If you have a little more leeway with the budget I would suggest maybe a large mirror, and a small "buffet" piece of furniture or shelves underneath it, maybe add a coat rack or key ring holder to the wall on the left. 
Or even a corner shelf for the corner that you can add decor and or pictures too to take up some space and move what you currently have over a little more. If you want to keep what you have maybe just get some larger shelves to take up some more wall space and add family pictures or art work. I hope this helps and you don't take any of this offensively, there is just a lot of wall space that you have room to work with, make it your own.

add a silver table  add some flowers and pics of you and your husband and remove the green pics and maybe.get one of a owl or something like that so it doesn't look to boxed in also the shelfs are to close together so separate them abit more and maybe add some led lights or candles to the silver table hope this helps I design my whole room because my house is built from screacth
