how was you baby after shots?

My baby is having his first round of shots tomorrow (only 2) and not looking forward to it :/

How was your baby the first 24 hours after shots?

My son cried ALOT when he got them.  Was inconsolable afterwards and wouldn't feed... Took him home, gave him baby Tylenol and he calmed down enough by then to eat.  He was super fussy all day but napped a lot more.  Hated having the bandages torn off, should've put him in the bath and soaked them first.  Next day other than a bit of tenderness around the injection sites, he was back to normal.

My baby cried when he first got them but it didn't last long. I fed him right after and he was pretty normal. He's been sleeping most of the day wakes up to eat and goes back to sleep. 
He was a little fussy whenever he wakes up to eat though but I'm hoping he'll be back to normal by tomorrow.

My daughter cried for a few seconds after the injections then slept a lot. She was out for about 13 hrs that night and wouldn't even wake up enough to eat. The next morning everything was back to normal.

My baby girl cried for just a few minutes after her shots. My mom gave her some Tylenol right afterwards. She was just a little more fussy than usual that evening, and then, oddly, she was peachy the next day!

My baby had his Wednesday, 3 of them. Cried for less than a minute, the nurse did them really fast and then I picked him up and soothed him and he calmed right down. I nursed him in the car right after too.  I had bought Tylenol just in case but didn't end up using it. He really wasn't fussy, he would fuss a little and I would nurse him, which he seemed to feed ALOT the day of but I was glad because I was nervous about him not feeding.  He didn't sleep much more the day of but the day after he napped quite a bit more, which was a relief because I was really sick. For next time, I think I want to try not to use bandaids because he cried when I took them both off that night and I felt so bad. Or I will try soaking him in the tub for a while before attempting to remove them.

My babe was a tad fussy for a few days after. The best suggestion that I got from a friend was to breastfeed your baby as the shots are being given. My baby let out a little cry right as the needle went in, and then  forgot about it all and started eating! I honestly think that I was having a harder time than he was!

I gave my baby infant Tylenol as soon as we got home to bet the fever, he jus slept a lot. The 2 day he was just fussy a lot
