Anyone else with a bad cold??

I came down with a pretty gnarly cold the past few days and I can't seem to shake it my normal ways. Soup. Water. Sleep. Garlic. Lemon and honey. Nothing.

Anyone find anything that's worked for them??

Medicine! I am worried about how bad influenza is this year even though I got the shot for it.

I had a cold a couple weeks ago. It seemed like it took forever to go away. I guess it takes us longer to recover because we are pregnant. I just stayed hydrated. Drank alot of orange juice for the vitamin C.

I did nothing for 2 days, gargled salt water, drank hot water and honey, are chicken noodle soup, and took some warm steamy showers. Felt the cold coming on last Friday and I'm finally starting to feel better today. It takes forever without meds!! GL!!

I've been down for the count for three days!  Today I finally went to the urgent care clinic and they sent me to labor & delivery. They monitored my little girl and she is doing great, thank goodness. I just can't even think of eating or drinking and my spine, hips, and joints are aching like crazy!  I can hardly get out of bed!  I hope you all feel better soon!

I have had one for weeks!!!!! Finally went to dr and he gave my amoxicillin.  :/ and the cough syrup with Codien in it.  He said because I haven't slept in forever that's why the cough syrup and he said the antibiotics were to just be safe that my body could kill what it needed too since it has been so long.  I don't love taking meds at all especially pregnant but I am taking it and praying to get better soon!
