how do you know?!

Question

When do you know to just go to the hospital? I'm 10 weeks with babynumber 2. Haven't really worried but I am today I have an appt tomorrow but I have been sick for the past 3 days with a horrible cough, stressing and cramping up. I'm not bleeding or anything so should I just stick it out until tomorrow or just go in?

The cramping is,probably from the coughing. I got sick with bronchitis while I was pregnant and the coughing made my belly really sore. Try a humidifier, honey 3x/day, saline wash. Also drink a lot because dehydration can cause cramping.  If you're not bleeding and the cramping isn't horribly painful I wouldn't think it's ER worthy.

Whenever you are in doubt just call your doctor. Let him or her tell you what to do. I call my doctor all the time and every time I feel bad for bothering them with a possibly silly question, and every time they are completely understanding and tell me everything I need to know.

If you're not bleeding I'd wait til your appointment.  Could just be the coughing causing you to cramp...?
