Full moon opinions??

Question

I am 38 weeks, I'm dilated to 1 cm and 50% effaced, I've begun to lose my mucus plug the last two days and this is my second pregnancy (my first son was born a week early in a very short labor and went in only dilated to 1 and not effaced)

My mom is a person who swears by the full moon bringing on birth, and considering my first son was born the day after a full moon she tends to bring it up more, now Sunday is a full moon and she thinks this will bring on my labor, and I'm just curious about if others have heard similar things or if more people believe it and I'm just being too skeptical..?

I am hoping it does I'm 37 weeks and due January 24th! I'm so ready to meet my little man and so uncomfortable I could cry!!! I feel like I'm never going to get the chance lol

I am due The 10th and was 1cm and 80% thinned out last Monday! Hope this full moon thing is right!

I believe the moon phases affect a lot of thing that happen with the mind and body. I don't know much about it but I always feel a little different on nights of full moons and I'm curious to see how this Sunday's full moon affects my pregnancy as well. I'm due on the 19th. Maybe this will help speed things up! Good luck!
