what do you think of your OB ?

Okay so my doctor is a male he's very nice I do like him as a doctor but sometimes I feel like with me being a FTM he should show more concern . I know he's dealt with more than 3,000 pregnancies but I feel like for us first time moms a lot of the doctors don't show a care for the things we freak out about. Like if this was my 5 kid I would understand but this is my first child and I just feel like doctors don't think that way . Do I make sense ladies 😏

I alternate through 4 different doctors, I'm a FTM. I actually prefer my male doctors over the one female one, god I hope she isn't the one on call when I deliver!! My doctors are pretty good at explaining things , but I also prepare with questions before I go if I have any.

I love my Dr he is short sweet and to the point I am on my 3rd baby but even with my first he was amazing I see it this way if they aren't concerned then we shouldn't worry either

I adore my doctor. He's older (60s?), a bit odd socially (on the spectrum perhaps), but so so so caring and thourogh. He listens, like really listens and takes even small concerns seriously. Sometimes he can be overly cautious, but I think he just really doesn't want to overlook anything or brush anything off because he feels so responsible for my health and the health of my baby. I feel so lucky and fortunate that he's my doctor.

I'd rather my doctor be calm and non chalant about things than worry with me. Once there is trouble in the air, then he should be more concerned. 
Thankfully, my male OB is like this and I appreciate him being calm and not reading into every symptom for the most part.

I loooove love love my dr! She is absolutely amazing and she's scarcastic and funny but deffinalty serious when she needs to be. She is more than willing to answer all of my questions in detail. She is younger than the other OB Drs and I really hope she is on call to deliver my baby! Like I seriously love her lol.

They are very busy and just like with any public service job he sees a ton of women all day everyday. I know what you're saying though not all doctors are impersonal but sometimes they just get worn down. My doctor started out very friendly but now that I'm almost at delivery he seems impatient to answer my questions and move on

I have a male doctor too. And at first he didn't show very much concerned but after I talk to my Midwife about it he has changed his outlook on how I feel on some things
