carpal tunnel during pregnancy?

Does anyone have carpal tunnel during pregnancy? I have it and I'm ready you cut my hands off! Any advice to help? I'm hoping it goes away asap after the baby. 38 weeks on Friday. Thank you :)

I do. Got it around 6 months then it went away and came back strong around 33 weeks. It was so bad I would wake up with severe pain and it would hurt to grip the toothpaste! I got a specific carpal tunnel night brace & it actually helps quite a bit! I still have numbness, mostly in my right hand, but it is light & not painful so I'm used to that now. I also sometimes put essential oils on the wrists like peppermint.

Yes!  It's awful, I can't grip my utensils when I eat :( Using a wrist brace at night which helps

OMG it's the worse, I've had it for months and it started with pain throughout my right hand that would wake me up in the middle of the night. I have no feeling in my three fingers.  I purchased a hand brace from Walgreens and it works like a charm.

I have it. And it's terrible. I have asked all my Dr's and none have been quite interested in explaining it to me. So I have done my own research online. Hope it goes away after the baby comes that's for sure!

I have it! It's the worst, i hate it so much. Like swelling isn't bad enough. It has been weeks, can't feel anything in 3 of my right hand fingers. The doctor told me to get a bracer, that it might help but it wasnt going away until after giving birth 😑

Idk but my hands feel swollen all the time but they arent! They are always very sore especially at night... thats when its at its worst! I tood my dr but he didnt say much about it.. so idk

YES!!! My hands go numb and tingly especially at night when I'm sleeping. 
Now throughout the day tips of my fingers are always tingly

I noticed some numbness in my right hand and fingers in the morning the last few weeks. It seems to be getting worse. The numbness didn't go away and when I use my right hand it gets worse. Shaving and wiping myself makes it numb. I haven't asked my midwife about it, I thought it was just from swelling.

My doctor diagnosed me with it too he told me to put heat compressions on it or get a brace so far all I do is take Tylenol ends run warm water over my wrists

I do. Best thing is putting an ice pack on your hand at night and even as you're falling asleep. The next day is a lot more comfortable.
