My daughter was born with red blotches from what it looks like, on the right cheek side and some area of the chin. I've never heard of this until we visited the pediatrician. Initially a possibility of spider veins, but not certain that's it. We are being referred to a dermatologist and hope to find out exactly what it is. It's not painful by the way. She is currently a month and a couple days young.  I've been looking it up online and looks like it may fade away with time.
