any tips for heartburn?

Hi ladies! I have really bad heartburn and acid reflux. 
I'm 24 weeks pregnant. I've had milk and tums.. 
any other ideas

It would work in my first trimester (haven't had to use it since as Tums usually do the trick) but a glass of water with a tsp of baking soda stirred in. It's salty and have to drink it quick, but it's natural and effective. Also, I've noticed chocolate triggers wicked heartburn for me and not having enough food in me (in between meals, closer to the next meal) starts the heartburn. I try to have a bit of protein and healthy fats to keep my stomach full but not too full

I have acid reflux before getting pregnant but being pregnant just makes it worse some days so I have a huge bottle of ranitidine. I take two everyday. And I also have alkaselzer chewable anti acid thingies lol

I've been taking a Zantac daily and sleeping with 2 pillows. That's what my doctor said to do, and you can also use the tums

Tums never work for me so I always keep a 7up somewhere in my house for when I have heartburn because it makes you burp and once I burp I'm good 😎 lol

2 TBSP of organic apple cider vinegar mixed with a glass of water. It's vile but works within 5 minutes and every time for me.

One thing that really worked for me early was a spoonful of peanut butter. I enjoy the taste of peanut butter so I had no problem with it. However it only got worse so I restored to taking Zantac when needed. I don't need to take it every day or time I eat like I was doing with tums so it has helped

Try gum it helped me a lot weird i know i heard it at a nutrition class from one of the girls she said she tried tums n all sorts of things and nothing has worked better than chewing gum

I use to take ranitidine daily but I found omeprazole works much better.  I take one a day usually before supper  and I am good for a day.  Mine kicked in more at night.

I take prilosec otc for acid reflux and my heartburn is now gone. It's so wonderful.
