I'm considering getting an IUD, and I have one friend who has it, but I'd like many opinions about it. I'm a little worried about the side effects, mainly the emotional ones. I've read that it can cause depression and decreased sex drive. I already struggle with depression, and have had an oral contraceptive that totally killed my sex drive and I'd rather not go through that again. Soo ladies... thoughts? Have you had these side effects? Any others worth mentioning?
