Me And Birth Control Will Never Be Friends

So , i was talking with some friends of mine. The subject was birth control. We are all between 21 to 30 years old. Prime time for childbirth or career depending on your route in life. Anyways, most of my friends are all in college or has a career. A few of them are mothers but they have careers too. During a conversation of congratulating a friends on her pregnancy news, the talk about contraception came up. I happen to be the youngest. I am 21 years old and married. I am not trying any time for a child but i do not use any contraception.

Now, i know most people that read up to this point is like : WTH , obviously your trying to get pregnant or something along those line.

Well, so did my friends. And i had to go on to explain. Honestly, i totally understand the reason behind using birth control. I also do not agree with putting it in my body . I do not feel comfortable with the idea of added hormone in my body, fighting against my body's natural process and the side affect that comes on the labels are a bit terrifying.

Am i alone in this?
