Spectra S1 Plus Breast Pump Help

Thanks to all the ladies here, instead of the Medela open system, I decided on a Spectra😊

So, I just bought my pump and it has the rechargeable battery. The directions don't really say much about how to charge it. I plugged it in overnight, the screen didn't show anything, and it's only slightly charged. Does it just take a long time? Is it supposed to show its charging?

Also any extra tips or info would be helpful! I'm a first timer. Baby is due Thanksgiving Day🍂🍁
