Please Help..LO Fever

Hi ladies. So my LO has had a fever (99 to 100.1F) mainly on/in his head for the past three days (since Tues it's Thurs atm).

The thing is the fever comes and goes throughout the day. His behaviour is normal other than he has been resting his head on our chest or shoulder (something he doesn't really do since he's always looking around ) He's feeding, doesn't have a cough or sneeze to assume it's the flu.

We visited the Dr yesterday. Said it could be a mild virus. N stated you can't have fever in your head alone. Oh please!!!! Just wanted to know if anyone has had such an experience.

PS.. Where I'm from we have what is called a growing fever when a child is having/will have a growth spurt.
