I want him to be more aggressive!!

I am really needing a better sex life! I want my boyfriend to be more in control. I always have to ask him if he wants to have sex and or he'll just come to the bed and start like shaking it to let me know he is ready. So how do I ask him to be more aggressive and to take control with out making him feel like a wimp.
