I have had the implant in for 3 years and I'm getting it out soon. I'm trying to decide what method I should use afterwards. I have been having periods that last a month or so with the implant and that's why I'm thinking about changing methods.

The pill. Patch made my hormones go whack and gave me headaches every day. But honestly you can't ask someone on here because everyone will have a different experience. Talk to your doctor he will choose the right one for you

Talk to your doctor, they should be able to hear your concerns and help you weigh your options. The final decision is up to you but they should be willing to offer some support and more information on your options.
The IUD is the most effective, yet the most invasive. If you don't like bleeding for months the shot probably isn't a good option since that's a common side effect for it. It's also really harsh on your body so I'd say leave that as a last resort. Do some research on your own though to help you make a more informed decision. Best of luck!

None. I had the implant and it was horrible. After that i wasn't planning on getting anything inserted into me again. Too many mood swings, and unbearable headaches. The pill is best.
