Has anyone had this happen?
I had my 28 week ultrasound today and Baby A was 2lbs 4oz and measuring small (about a week behind) Baby B was 2lbs 12 oz (about a week ahead) The doctor that read the ultrasound said that she wasn't overly concerned, but wanted me to have an ultrasound for growth in 3 weeks instead of 4 weeks. She also said that if she was still behind that I would start getting weekly scans. My OB said that this happens pretty frequently with twins and it's very possible that she will catch up by the next ultrasound. Based on what they were saying I wasn't panicking, but then I read the ultrasound report which said: "patient was informed of sonographic findings and counseled on the potential for non visualized fetal malformations".... I was never told anything about there being potential for something wrong other than the fact she is smaller... The girls are DI/DI so it wouldn't be ttts. Has anyone had this happen and their smaller twin caught up? Just hoping for some reassurance! Our last scan at 24 weeks they were both 1 lb 7 oz... so they both are definitely still growing...
