6 month old doesn't crawl yet?

Question

My six month old, 7 in three days still not interested in crawling. Is anyone else in this same situation? 
We do tummy time a lot but I'm not seeing any progress... 
He can sit and sometimes he'll turn from his tummy to his back but this is rare...

I asked my son's pediatrician about crawling at his 6 month appointment. He said that crawling isn't even on the developmental questionnaires that they use because some babies don't crawl, or start crawling after they walk. He said that they are more concerned about their ability to sit and reach for objects at this time.

No crawling. Not even getting on all fours. I don't think he even wants to.

Nope. Nothing yet.

While sitting up, my daughter will dig in one foot and flex the leg like she's planted it in for a pole vault. Then she'll rocket herself head first into the floor. It's like tipping over, only she propels herself all the way through. She wants to get somewhere and that's the best effort she's got. I wouldn't mind except I'm worried she'll concuss herself. Hopefully the crawling starts soon... 😂😥

My first did not start crawling until 9 months and walked at 10 months. Every baby is different.

My little dude will be 7 months on the 19th. He's not quite there yet with crawling but his hand eye coordination is really good. He can pick up just about anything and bring it to his mouth. Every baby is different.

Everything I've read says that babies begin to crawl between 7-9 months...it'll happen soon and when it does you're going to wish your little one was still not moving...hang in there...

My daughter has been crawling since 6 months but she is definitely on the early side! Enjoy them being stationary while you can ;) , she is into everything now!

My little girl will be 7 months on the 18th and she absolutely hates being on her stomach for more than 2min. She pushes her legs but dosent get on her knees so she dosent go anywhere, if I put her on the regular floor instead of carpet she turns in circles but that's about it. I'm not worried because some babies never crawl on all fours r even at all every baby in my family either didn't crawl and just walked r they sat up and would just scoot instead of crawling r just bounce on there knees to get around!

My 7 month old isn't crawling either. He can get into position and rock, but then his knees slide out from under him and he looses interest. He'll figure it out eventually.
