Emergency Abortion Fund

Cosmopolitan magazine recently published and shared an article on Facebook about how women are encouraging other women to save up for an emergency abortion fund, following the results of the US presidential election.
Politics aside, do you think it's a good idea for women to have an abortion fund?
I'm in between on this; as a prochoice woman I feel that if a pregnant woman wants to terminate her pregnancy, then she should be free to do so. However instead of saving up for a potential abortion, wouldn't it be better to take more than one type of BC? But then again, maybe it's a good idea to have this fund just in case you find yourself in a situation where you can't afford it later?
Thoughts?
EDIT: I see many people are missing the point of my post. Let me rephrase, POLITICS ASIDE--is it a good idea to have an abortion fund just in case you might feel you will need one in the future? After reading these comments, my opinion is that it's a good idea to have a general emergency fund just in case your tires blow out, your cat needs a tooth removed, *or* you decide to have an abortion. I still feel, though, that it's still best to plan to prevent pregnancy in the first place. Hope that clarifies things..
