What to message to my abusive husbands stepmum - help!!

Question

So my husband is abusive and I left the country and went to the UK to be a single mum because I couldn't take it. The only part of me that wanted to go back got discouraged by his same old attitude and behaviour and insults.
His sister and I are quite close and I've told her what has really happened and she told his stepmum ( who is like a mother to him, he gets along with her more than his actual mum) what happened. 
He showed me texts of his step mum being unhappy with me not flying back but she doesn't know the real reason, they all apparently dislike me and think I'm being selfish and its getting me upset.
I'm really really really depressed and down , I keep on thinking I just want to hurt myself but cry because I can't because I'm 31 weeks pregnant.
I really am so close to texting his step mum to apologise for letting their family down and not being the perfect wife everyone expected me to be.
I do know his step mum as I visited them in Florida.
What should I message to her ?

You've made so many posts about your situation & people are consistently giving you feedback to just move on with your life-- please just take the advice! You left him-- you don't need to communicate with his family (especially to apologize, he was the one at fault!).

Why do you post the same thing every two or three days but never listen or take any advice from anyone. If your not going to listen quit posting the same thing over and over. It's the same question multiple times a week I mean are you even really married or pregnant?

STOP talking to him AND his family. Focus on healing yourself and having a healthy baby. Texting his step mom is not going to help you in any way. She's already formed an opinion and judgement based on what his sister, who you say knows what really happened, told her. You don't need to justify your reasons for protecting yourself and your baby to anyone. I've given you advice in your previous posts about blocking his number, etc. so I won't bother repeating myself. You need to speak with your doctor ASAP if you are really having suicidal thoughts. Tell her how is abusive to you. Tell her she should have taught him how to be a man and a husband. Then do yourself a favor and delete and block their number. Focus on the joy motherhood or pregnant hood. Do things that make you happy. Learn to enjoy life again. Most importantly than all of that is for you to pray for better days.

Tell her the trueth they are probly going to be more upset do the fact that your out of state and they fear they won't get to know their grand child

Tell her the truth,  she won't like it but tough.  You and your childrens safety and health come first!  Don't let them guilt trip you.  Life will get better and you will manage and be happy again.  I've been in the same situation,  you have to be selfish for yourself and your children.  Look forward to the future and good luck xx

Its not your fault. He is the abusive one so dont think you are not a good wife. They are his family so thats why they are defending him. You moved far away just to get away from him so im guessing there were some serious issues. I would cut off all relations to him. Still be friends with the sister but tell her you dont want anything to do with him. Its hard to move on but you made the effort and you were strong enough to do it. You have to cut them out of your life and not let them get you down. Think about your baby and yourself.
