depo does it work or not ?

I recently had sex with my boyfriend and he cam In me however I started the depo shot about 5 months ago should I be worried ?

You should be good. 
I started having (no pullout) unprotected sex the month after I got my first shot, I bled for the first month and then I didn't have another period until 2 years later a month after I finally got off it. We never had any scares.

I was on it for three years. I had my first full on unprotected sex after one month of my first injection. We did it mostly for those three years. Everyone is different though.

My husband and I always had sex without a condom when I was on the depo shot. I didn't get pregnant until I had been off of it for a year. My mother however... she was on the depo shot when she got pregnant with me... soooo if your not wanting to have a baby quite yet I might take a plan B if I were you, just in case.
