How many pounds to your babies weight?

I went to the doctor today and she said that my baby boy is already 3 pounds.😳I am 28 weeks....She reassured me that he was suppose to be that size but Im thinking other wise.How many ladies know their baby size from 26-28 weeks?

I had a 28 week ultrasound and he was measured at a little over 3 lbs too! Now I'm bracing myself for a bigger baby (my first two were 7 lbs 2 oz and 7 lbs 3 oz...perfect!!), but you never know until they get here. Pray for small heads! 😂😳

How do you know the weight? Are these from ultrasounds or can the doctor tell some other way?
