should I get an IUD?

I'm sixteen and not planning on having sex any where in the near future, but I'm considering getting an IUD because of the outcome of the 2016 election. My family and I can't afford health insurance without it being somewhat government supplemented so if Obamacare is discontinued/changed I won't be able to afford birth control. If I decide to have sex in the next term I feel like I should be prepared and would rather be safe than sorry. What should I do?
