fastest and easiest ways to dry milk supply up?!!

Need some quick,easy, and possibly pain free ways to start drying my milk up (for health reasons). My breastfeeding journey is coming to a close for many reasons I will not list at least right now and I need this milk gone pronto. Positive advice only!!😬

I quit cold turkey and took benedryl at night. I never had a big supply though. My boobs never even got engorged when I quit. 😳

I could breastfeed due to complications but my milk was in full fledge! My boobs were almost engorged! Take a hot hot shower. Then afterwards wrap them super tight with an ace bandage. I'm talking super super tight. Do that for a few days and they'll dry up. Plus they won't get engorged! 😊

I stopped pumping and 'ignored' my boobs and the hardness/pains/excessive leaking had subsided in 2/3days. I didn't pump, massage, hand express or do any of the things/wives tales. Just kept them clean, sports bra day and night, paracetamol for the pain and change my pads every few hours to prevent leaking (I had a lot of milk before!)
Midwife advised me that the more I messed with them and thought about it the more the brain tells you to produce more milk...so just ignore them and break the cycle.
Make sure u keep a stash of pads though as despite being 'dry' now for a week I still find I get the odd damp patch in my bra especially when my LO is crying x

Cabbage. No joke. Buy small head of it and just pull off a big enough leaf to cover ur entire breast one on each and leave on for few hours. I only had to do it once n was pain free and dried up in a week.

If you consistently put cabbage compresses on it can help reduce your supply (and if refrigerated help with the pain as well). You have to crush the veins on the cabbage just before you put it on

Eat an omelet or whatever else wil A LOT of parsley. This completely dried up my sister in law's supply in a couple of hours. I heard avocados can also help.

With my first I did nothing except try cabbage and I was so engorged I ended up with mastitis. It was horrible! This time around I read that Sudafed helped dry up your milk so I gave it a try and with just one dose I noticed a difference! It helped so much with drying up my milk.

My doctor said hot showers or put a hot towel on ur breast 2 times a day, also caffeine will help to.
