Getting an IUD?
I'm turning 18 tomorrow and I've been on the pill since seventh grade. But as my life got busier I've been forgetting to take it and it messed up my periods and I need another option since I am sexually active.
I looked into the implant but saw too many horror stories about 6 month periods and got weirded out.
So I am looking into the IUD.
How has everyone's experience with it been?
And how would I go about getting it? Could I just see my doctor?
