Heparin???

Has anyone taken heparin n had seizures??? I took my first dose this morning n my dad said i had 2 seizures back to back.. I have no history of seizures.. Until now?? What are yalls stories of it??

Seizures are not a SE of Heparin.  If you are in the ER, why are you asking Glow and not the doctor?

I work in an epilepsy unit and haven't heard of any link between heparin and seizures. Are you pregnant?

I took it during my last pregnancy, I had to mild strokes, it was used to prevent blood clots, didn't have any seizures
