when to start packing??

I'm 27 weeks and 2 days and was wondering when I should start packing hospital bags! When did you ladies pack yours??

I'd say 36 weeks is a good time to pack them. You can start preparing what you want to pack a little before if you want!

I'm 28 weeks, I've already packed baby's bag but just slowly been adding stuff to my bag as time drifts on. Baby has everything, outfits, diapers, wipes, blankets, burp cloths, socks, mittens, hats. I just have my nursing pillow, some nipple cream, nipple pads, nursing cover, and some adult diapers.

This sounds bad but I will probably just make a list of what I want to pack, and then pack when labor starts. I might pre-pack random things I won't use in the interim time (like pads and undies, socks, a nursing top or gown and bra, robe for walking the halls, boppy pillow for breastfeeding). But most of the things I want to pack I will probably be wearing or using until I go into labor (clothes, slippers, camera, chargers, computer, body pillow, shower stuff, make up). I feel like if I have a list it won't be that hard to throw it in a bag while in early labor.   I guess I just don't understand how the "pre packing" works when it is stuff I use every day. I am supposed to just set aside a pair of leggings for 4 weeks? Leggings are worth their weight in gold right now lol.

I will probably start a bag for baby around 35 weeks because obviously I won't be using that stuff until she gets here.

Maybe I am complacent because we live 4 blocks from the hospital so I can always send hubs or someone else home to grab something if I need it. Heck, my doorman might even run it over.

Well i have 2 premiees which one was born at 29w am currently 26.4w and my doctor told me a women should always be prepared after 25w

To be honest with my first I waited until almost the end since I knew I wasn't dilating with her. But this baby has me nesting bad 😂 I've got her bag done I'm almost done with mine. Just need my hubbys and big sis gift for our daughter.

Ive packed 2 stretch n grows one prem one nb. My first fit into prem for the first week. 3 outfits for bub, a blanky, pacifier,breast pads,maternity pads and a beany just for now.
