What size bottles?

So I'm a ftm. Who will be off for a year and going to breastfeed. I do want my husband to be involved in feedings. What size bottles do you girls recommend 4-5oz. Or 8-9oz or both?

4-5. Breastfed babies should only get an oz or two from bottle at a time. It is very easy to over feed them and stretch out their belly with a bottle. Also, to be successful breastfeeding and avoid nipple confusion and supply issues, do not offer baby a bottle until at least 4 weeks old.

My daughter is 7 months and we use the 4oz avent bottles and the nipple is still size one. We tried a bigger nipple but she was getting to much milk and making a mess. 
Plus if your gonna be breast feeding most of the time no need to spend more money on a bunch of bottles and nipples.

It's whatever YOU and your SO says... any choice is the right choice as long as you feel it is the right one. What everyone else says doesn't matter.

On a side note, being pregnant with my second I suggest the bigger ones. I also suggest buying no more then 6 because the more I had the less inclined I felt to wash them and then ended up having to toss them because milk sat in them. I also suggest starting out with the cheap bottles first and then if those don't work out move up by price until you find one that works. Why buy a 10 dollar bottle if they can handle the one that only costs a dollar!

I got the 8-9 oz and just put how many oz she drinks which is 3-4 oz . Personally I didn't see why I had to buy the small ones , waste of money in my opinion .

I had both, but I wish that I would have gotten all 8 oz bottles now that she's bigger.  If they don't finish, you can always put the bottle back in the fridge.  The big bottles will always be good, but the small bottles are really only good for the first few months.
