bleeding and pelvic pressure
Long story short, this is my second pregnancy. With my first I never had sex from 2nd trimester to birth because I left my son's (abusive) father. Today, I am 26 weeks and my boyfriend and I had sex and I began bleeding and passing clots. Went to L&D: my cervix is still closed but very irritated and inflamed. Baby's heart rate was steady but he hasn't been active much at all today. They said the bleeding should subside in about 3 days and to return if I had any preterm labor symptoms.
I had a lot of pelvic pressure and when I peed I had pain too (no UTI). Baby still isn't active, still bleeding like they said, and still have a lot of pressure. It makes me so scared. It doesn't feel right even though his heart rate was good. Any advice to calm my nerves while I try to relax and stop assuming the worst? 😔
