What to get for 1 yr wedding anniversary !?

We decided to follow traditional gifts since it's more sentimental and not about spending money! 1 year is paper so we have eachother cards 😊

Paper is usually the first year gift if you follow tradition. I'm planning on getting my husband a showdow box and pinning all of the menus we have enjoyed together from restaurants( I always ask for a menu to take home) along with the self pencil drawing we had done while at navy pier. We are huge foodies and always go to new places. So it sticks with tradition but with a new sort of twist on it. 

Paper is the traditional one, but apparently there is an updated modern first anniversary gift. My hubby and I tried a new restaurant and then went antiquing and purchased gifts from our findings. He got a silver cuff bracelet and I got a country-style leather belt.

Our's is coming up in May and I was thinking of just having a mini vacation. Camping or maybe going to a nice hotel for some rollplay. You know, where you get picked up by a sexy "stranger."

So I just got married and my mom and her creativity showed me a link that describes What each year of marriage represents. People usually only think of 25 50 100 but apparently 1st year represents paper in a traditional sense but they have modern ones too. This was just something I thought was cute. If all else fails just ask lol

Traditional 1 year anniversary; paper in a modern way. Motos was our splurge, we've always wanted to to. Hopefully he loves it.

Paper is first year. I'm not married. Yet.  However I've been saving movie ticket stubs, concert tickets , amusement park tickets and so on. And for first year I'm going to make a collage for him.
