Do I really need a bottle warmer????

Question

For the mama's that have pumped and frozen their milk. Do I need to purchase a bottle warmer or does placing the bottle in a bowl with hot water work just fine? FTM.

I warm a coffee cup of water half way in the microwave for a min & a half. Then sit my milk bag in there and frequently take it out and mix up the milk by squishing the bag with my hands. Till warm enough

Dr brown bottles are thick so I warm baby's water on stove for like 15 sec. pour in bottle and then add formula.

I'll be the devils advocate here and say we really like our kiinde kozii bottle warmer. It's convenient and safe for breastmilk as it heats with warm water instead of steam.

I love my bottle warmer. I am upstairs and running down to the kitchen for hot water in the middle of the night doesn't work for me. I have a mini fridge the bottles stay in with the warmer on top. Takes 3 minutes to heat up so I can get baby up change her diaper and comfort her for a minute and then bottle is ready.

We don't use a bottle that often so hot water in a bowl has worked just fine! I'm a ftm and thought we NEEDED a bottle warmer so I bought this fancy shmancy $80 one. I'm so glad I never opened the box so I was able to return it.

If your not going to use a bottle all the time I personally don't think they're necessary. Hot water works just as well!

No for bottle warmer. We use warm water from the sink or from the keurig, ours dispenses just water as an option, in a hurry to warm up bottles. This is my third baby and I have never used a bottle warmer.
