colposcopy ???😳😳

TTC #1 I have been trying to track my ovulation for 10 days now without a positive response and my doctor just call me for an ColPoscoPy exam. I'm not sure if I should do it cause a read about it on Internet and I'm not sure if it's a good idea now once I'm ttc. Helllppp

You should be ok I'm sure you already had procedure since this is a few wks old. But I saw this post and wanted to see if everything went ok. I have crohns so I've got to get colonoscopies every 2 years. They always blood test me if I cannot pee (usually I can't bc I am dehydrated from not being able to drink for 12 hours) then they will take the results to make sure I'm not preggo.

I don't think anything would affect our eggs it's just a liability thing bc u could sue if you were pregnant and baby was messed up due to drugs.

I did one when I was TTC. I ask the doctor millions of times to make sure it was okay (I also thought I was pregnant). You should be fine :)

I was in the same position as you a few months back. I reckon it is best to get it done and put it behind you so u can concentrate properly on ttc!x

If your doctor wants you to get one, that means you've gotten abnormal results on a Pap or they saw something that needs a closer look. Its better to get it done and make sure everything is okay before you get pregnant, in case you need antibiotics or anything. I had one done a few months ago
