I like his internal personality but not externally attracted to him. 
I can see my self falling for him if he had a little spunk to his style but he's so bland 😣😢

Someone's personality is what makes them attractive or not to me! I have met some of the most attractive looking guys and their personality makes them ugly! I say go for it!! Personality is everything.

Even if he's not as physically attractive to you, his personality should compensate for that. My friends use to say I am shallow (still am to an extent), but I started liking a guy because I loved his personality. I didn't like the way he dressed at first because his clothing was tight and he likes vibrant colors and color blocking and he's REALLY into appearancr, but since I liked him, that stuff didn't even matter to me.

Go for what's on the inside. You can meet the most attractive person in the world and he can be the biggest asshole.

From someone who's been in the same situation before, if you really think you can fall for him then go for it. Cuz in the end it's the inside that really matters, right? And maybe after a while you could make some suggestions as to how he could dress to make you more attracted to him physically, like saying:"You know what I'd really like? Seeing you wear those  (whatever type of clothing)"
