hand me down stains?

What are the best ways to get old stains out of hand me down baby clothes?

Oxi clean. Some of the onesies my cousin gave me had formula spit up stains on them. The stains had been there for almost a year and had been washed and dried. I mixed up oxi clean with hot water and let them soak for hours (I forgot about them, so it actually turned into overnight, but that long is really not needed!) all the stains came out in the wash and I didn't have to scrub or spray anything!

Oxi clean is a staple in our house, the powder, the stain spray and I even use the hd white revive (color safe) detergent for my whites and extra dirty work clothes (hubby is a contractor )
I can't even tell you how many stains I've gotten out, or clothes that have been saved from the trash because of this stuff. Its worth the money!

Somewhere in the depths of Pinterest I found a post about using Dawn dish soap, baking soda, and I think peroxide.

Shout spray! Spray prior to washing, and then add a little to your washing water.
