This is my second child. With my first I never experienced BH or and contractions. And I was induced at 38 weeks due to preeclampsia. I am now 37 weeks and have GD and at risk for preeclampsia. I am doing 24hr urine collection today and been on bedrest since Friday. I have been having contractions (the dr said based on my NST) so I am assuming it's the tightening of my stomach. The baby gets in a hard ball and stays for a while. It doesn't hurt it's just uncomfortable. So are those real contractions or BH?
