so confused

So I understand that the vagina has discharge but no smell and clear but the last week has been dark brown and no smell. I assumed it was from me missing the pill a couple days so when I resumed taking them normally it did that. But today I started bleeding a bright red. I'm so confused it's been a week. And it still have some time before my period. Any ideas?
