PCOS: doctors said can't get pregnant with out medical help. They were wrong
Hi I'm 27. I had very heavy irregular periods since age 12 only had 2 periods a year until I was 17years old when the hospital told me I got PCOS and can't have children with out medical help. They started me on the pill to try and regulate it but ended up only having 1 a year while on the pill. Then last January 2014 I started bleeding every 2 weeks for 2-3 days so doctors made me take a 6 month break from the pill. While on the break from the pill my periods became regular on time every month. 3weeks before I was due to start back on the pill I became pregnant. Total surprise. I weighed 14 1/2 stone before I was pregnant. I lost 1 1/2 stone during my pregnancy. I had obstetrics Cholestasis (liver not clearing salts from under skin=feeling itchy all the time) during pregnancy, induced early, normal quick delivery. I now have a healthy beautiful 7week old baby girl and I now weigh 13 stone and back on the pill. But now my last period was very very heavy and lasted 2 weeks & I'm getting spotting every couple of days.
