pain above left breast.

It comes and goes. But it's really sharp. Kind of like a stabbing pain. It's starts right around the arm area and towards the breast. It's been going on for about two or three days. Whenever it starts with the pain. It's hard to sit up or move and breathe through it. Any ideas on what's causing it or is it just maybe part of the ovulating part of the cycle?
