frequent diaper change ok?

LO 5 days old. Is it normal or ok that I just changed 4 diapers in the last 4 hours? Had a different type every hour (poop one hour, wet the next). Wondering if she's going too often or if this is ok

My son still does that at 3 months. He's a peer and even the slightest bit of pee makes him mad so we're constantly changing him

My little guy is 3 months old and we are still going through 20 diapers a day. He HATES to be wet. Sometimes I change 3 in the span of 10-15 minutes

Completely normal. It will slow down as they get older, but yeah, they burn through those diapers in the beginning.

Haha yes I've been there. And also the times where you are changing the wet, they mess the one you are putting on, and then they mess the second one you are putting on them! Our LO had little streaky farts all the time and I'd change her every time. It was non stop. They slow down with the diapers as they get older.

Totally normal!  Especially if breastfed newborns will go after every feeding.  Expect 5-6 wetand 3-4dirty per day.
