Help! Baby acne or rash? Any recommendations?

All cleared up! Just in time for his family debut this Thanksgiving! I think it was probably a combination of running its course and washing daily with no fragrance sensitive baby soap. I have also been applying Aquaphor on the dry patches after washing and it's made a huge difference. Hope everyone else has had some luck!

That looks more like heat rash then anything

My daughter has the same thing , docter said it was a heat rash and recommended we kept her in lose fitting clothing, we kept her in the docs office in a cooler environment and they started too go away, shes a sweater and has a lot of body heat so we name sure we dont over cloth or cover her shes getting better but her back is still like that.

My little one had something similar. I tried a bunch of different stuff includingy breast milk but I found that coconut oil + aquaphor 2x a day works best. His cheeks are slightly rough still but the red bumps are pretty much gone.

Looks like baby acne. My son had it the first couple of weeks and it cleared up on its own. No worries!

I would avoid strongly fragranced soaps, lotions, and detergents, as well as being held by people wearing strong perfume.

So we had our 1 month check up today and I asked the doctor about the rash and she said it is a textbook case of baby acne and it will go away on its own in a few weeks. She said we can put aquafor on the drier areas but otherwise leave it alone. Frustrating but hoping it goes away before Christmas!

It looks like a rash to me, either heat or from milk (spit up etc), clean the skin with water after feeds, if it gets worse go to doctor for some cream, It'll get better xxx

That looks like from drool/milk staying in the skin too long or perhaps spit up
