At what age would this be sutible for my baby.

Whenever you want. The freakout about J&J is largely unfounded. (Check out Snopes.com or a legit news site for info, if you want.) Baby lotion will not cause cancer. I mean, don't put it up your baby's bum or make him eat it or anything, but a bit of soothing lotion after a bath is perfectly fine.

Personally, I prefer not to use lotion very much, because I just believe in leaving skin alone as much as possible and not messing with its natural balance. I just use a teeny tiny bit on my baby's cheeks after her twice-weekly baths, because she tends to get dry patches. Her skin is too sensitive for the J&J so I use my own aloe face moisturizer from The Body Shop. I would use J&J if I could, it's way cheaper! Lol!

I heard the 'cancer causing' ingredients were years ago and all products have different ingredients in now.

You should be able to use it as soon as she can have baths. We used it for sponge baths, even. 
Idk about the cancer deal. However, I will say I used J&J, the baby bath and the shampoo, on my LO and her skin dried out and was peeling so bad lotioning her up several times a day wouldn't work so we use aveeno calming baby bath and since then no dry skin. It felt crazy to my mom and I because my little sister and I both had been J&J all the when we were kids. I'm fairly confident there's a bottle still at my grannies and theres a bottle in the bathroom here for the dog.

Apparently johnsons is bad. Ive used it for both my babies, my family has always used it. But recently there's been info about it causing cancer. But idk. Ill probably still use it, what doesnt cause cancer nowadays? Lol

Anyways, you can use that stuff on any age baby. Just like when introducing any new product, do a small area first and make sure your baby doesnt have any reaction before covering their body in it.

I'd say its not suitable for any age. Look up Jonhnsons stuff, its horrible. Its proven that it has ingredients that cause cancer. I wouldnt use it personally (nor any other johnsons product).
