Best Friend didn't ask me to be a bridesmaid

I'm just hurt and don't know where else to vent. My best friend for 15 years didn't ask me to be a bridesmaid. She asked 8 other girls, which makes me feel so low on the "you are an important person in my life" list. I was the first one she told when her mom died a few weeks ago, first one she told when she got engaged last week, she was the first one I told when I got pregnant, the first one I told when I miscarried.... She was my maid of honor!! We've been friends since high school and see eachother every chance we get when I visit. I know I shouldn't expect to be part of the bridal party but I did, and now I'm super hurt. Ugh.
