Best Prenatal Vitamins?

Hey girls! What's the best Prenatal Vitamin out there? Preferably one that DOESNT cause nausea :) Reviews of products are welcomed!

I went to Vitafol as well. I could barely hold water down, so these are lifesavers to have some kind of nutrients go back in.

I take SmartyPants Gummies. The adult complete + fiber has pretty much everything the prenatal has and is no sugar added. I need no sugar added for digestive reasons.

I have not found any hard pill vitamins that don't cause my stomach to hurt. The ingredients are very good. It has folate not folic acid and also has fish oil so includes DHA.

There are two things to keep in mind. They are pricey and gummies don't include iron or calcium. So I also take a calcium supplement (costco's Kirkland Calcium Citrate with Magnesium). When I take with food I have no problems, but without food it causes my stomach a lot of pain. I also take an iron supplement from Mega Food called blood builder. It is all natural ingredients and doesn't hurt my stomach even if it isn't taken with food. The blood builder also has folate in it.

I don't mind paying more for good, natural ingredients that don't hurt my stomach.

So... folic acid is a synthetic version of folate, which your body needs.  I have an MTHFR mutation, meaning I can't convert folic acid to methylfolate. Worse, the folic acid builds up in my body, precenringme from absorbing even normal folate. The result of normal prenatals for me? Migraines, as well as risking autism for my child.

I instead take a special prenatal which is super pricey, but better for me and mh baby.  My prenatal is super gentle, but does cost 60.00 per month.

Pink Stork offers a liquid ornatapnfoe the same cost as One A Day prenatals (40.00 per bottle), and also contains natural folate. I may try this one out on my next pregnancy because 60.00 is kind of steep.

Naturemade with DHA are great for me. Get ones with DHA. Honestly though, what may cause nausea in one person may not cause any for you. Every body is different!
