Any other Moms dealing with a milk protein allergy with your little ones?

After 3 days of blood specked poop the dr diagnosed my daughter today. I'm breastfeeding and supplement with 2-4oz of formula a day.

They want me to stop eating diary for a minimum of two weeks(most likeky for the entire time she breastfeeds) and switch her to Similac Alimentum.

I'm kinda bummed as I won't be able to eat all the yummy thanksgiving food, but I really want to stick with breastfeeding.

I'd love to hear some success stories with an elimination diet. Is it something you get used to? I love diary... so it's going to be a big change for me. Seems easier to go full formula but even thinking that makes me feel guilty.
