School depression/anxiety😯😯?

I have seen a lot of posts about missing school due to depression and anxiety,  I am just wondering for the people who did go through that how did you make school possible or manageable with depression and/or anxiety?  Also could truancy or parents get arrested in illinois for missing over 30 days in a row due to mental illness?(this is for high school)  Please comment

Hi... I'm in Canada in highschool. I have depression anxiety panic attacks and bulimia. I miss a day of school every to weeks to go to my therapist an hour away. I'm on prozac 10 mg so that helps but even today I'm supposed to go to school but I had a sever anxiety attack .anyways I have two semesters and this semester I've missed about 26/45 days just due to doctors and clinics. So I guess it doesn't get easier just got to keep up with work and have ur teachers know about ur appointments before hand so they can get you the work

When I was in high school (in Illinois) I had to have a therapist come from the practice to the school once a week to meet with mr outside of regular therapy after school so I wouldn't get in trouble for missing days. Just keep up on work. I know it's tough

I don't know about Illinois, but in the state of Pennsylvania you have to go to a court hearing to see if there's actually a problem or if the kid's just been skipping school
