Does Plan B Really Work??

Hey everyone so I have a question and would love everyone's intake and information that y'all might have.

So today is my love's (boyfriend) birthday and I'm off at college😩. I feel bad that I'm not there but I'll be home this weekend to celebrate with him. We plan on going all out as in getting a hotel room having drink and a great amount of sex since it's been almost a month and today he asked me can we do it raw?? Now he have started off sex with a few raw strokes but we always put on a condom for him to finish in (Since I'm NOT on BC). So we both love those few stroke so much that I agreed but he has to still pull out. Now he's been drinking and is asking can he stay in and bust inside of me?? And my first answer is no we are going to end up with a baby he then goes and says well I'll just get you a Plan B. I know what a Plan B is for but I want to know..•A. Does it really work??
•B. What affects will it have on my body??
•C. Will it affect my chances when we are actually ready to conceive?

Note that I'm 20 and he's 21 we have known each other since I was 15 I love and trust him, he has a great job and if financially stable and we have talked about me possibly becoming pregnant and he says that he will just have to step up and be the man and father to me and the baby.

If it's been less then 72 hours- you can take plan B. If you really waited to ponder on this, you could definitely be pregnant.

Yes. It works. I've taken twice due to bc failure that would have probably been okay but just to make sure. Never been pregnant.

It can mess up you cycle and make you nauseous. But that's very minor considering a baby would do that for nine months.

Plan B does work BUT it depends where you are in your cycle! Also, the sooner you take it after Having sex the more likely it is to be effective. That being said. Plan B should always be Plan B. It will cause bleeding irregular from your cycle, and should only be taken twice a year max because it's so hard on your body. It will NOT hurt your chances of getting pregnant later in life though. 
I would tell your bf that you would love that but it won't happen right away- I would tell him you can get on birth control and once the birth control is working, THEN you can take that step. 
Plan B is only 95% effective maximum! 
So your chances of being pregnant will be greater than 1/20
Birth control is much more effective.

Never wait more than three days. The plan b works well unless your over weight and it makes your period start early. Or you can go to a clinic and get a copper Iud. I had mine in for two years but took it out because it made my periods heavy.

Plan B always works for me the only thing that I see different in my period is that it's lighter! Just take it as soon as your done with sex or even the day after.. also just to trough it out there plan b is pretty expensive if you buy it like at a pharmacy ( Walgreens, Walmart etc.) I have never had a bad experience with plan b it always works for me! It's 99.9% that I'll work but there's always that 1%...
